Minister of Culture meets with UAE counterpart
Minister of Culture Adil Karimli met with Salem bin Khalid al-Qasimi, his counterpart from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), who is attending the opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani pavilion at the 60th Venice Biennale.
The meeting discussed the prospects for the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE in the field of culture, and exchanged views on the presentation of joint cultural projects.
During the conversation, the importance of organizing discussions on the topic of climate change and culture at the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will be held in Azerbaijan this year, was also emphasized.
In addition, the meeting discussed the participation of the UAE in the VI World Intercultural Dialogue Forum, which will be held in our country within the framework of the "Baku Process" from May 1 to 3 of this year, and other issues of mutual interest.
The Biennale, which will be held from April 20 to November 24, is being held this year under the slogan "Foreigners Everywhere." The Azerbaijani pavilion, located in Campo della Tana, one of the unique architectural monuments of the 16th century, is organized under the theme "From the Caspian to the Pink Planet: I Am Here" and reflects the motto of the Biennale.
