E-VISA
- Standard e-visa is issued within 3 working days (20 USD).
- Urgent e-visa is issued within 3 hours regardless of holidays and non-working days (50 USD).
- E-visa has a single entry status and valid for the period of 90 days with 30 days permission to stay in Azerbaijan.

Attention! A validity period of a passport or other travel document should exceed a validity period of an expected visa at least by 3 months.
Attention! Foreigners or stateless persons temporarily residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan for more than 15 days must be registered at the place of residence.
Consular section of the Republic of Azerbaijan stops acceptance of passports for visa issue by postal couriers (DHL, UPS, TNT, GLS, Poste Italiana etc.) from the date of 25.07.2015.
If the documents of an applicant are presented to the Consular Section by a travel agency, in this case the Consular Section is not responsible for the correctness of the documents and for visa delay as a consequence, as well as for service fees requested by a travel agency from an applicant.

Single entry visas
To obtain a single entry visa for travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan, the following documents must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy:
1. One completed Visa Application Form, signed by the applicant;
All blank spaces in the form must be typed or printed in Italian or English languages. Incomplete visa application forms will be returned without processing.
2. Valid passport or other travel document (photocopies will not be accepted)which should have at least one clear page for the visa;
A passport must be valid for no less than 3 months after the date of its holder’s planned departure from Azerbaijan.
Holders of travel documents must submit valid permanent resident card.
3. Two passport sized photos of the applicant taken within the last 6 months to reflect the current appearance;
Colored photos must be full face, one stapled to the marked corner of the application.
- For a business and humanitarian visits an invitation letter from a receiving party along with a copy of a state registration certificate of the company/organization;
– For a personal visit: an invitation letter from Azerbaijani citizen or foreign citizen currently residing in Azerbaijan along with their Azerbaijani ID;
– For leisure: a copy of hotel reservation.

6. Copy of a document confirming full vaccination against COVID-19 or immunity to COVID-19
- Visa applicants over 18 must have a COVID-19 passport (or a document confirming full vaccination against COVID-19 or immunity to COVID-19).
- The following persons are exempt from submitting document confirming full vaccination against COVID-19 or immunity to COVID-19:
- Passengers whose close relatives are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (husband, wife, children, parents, siblings, grandparents and grandchildren), including family members of such persons (husband, wife, parents, children) – are required to confirm the degree of kinship on the basis of a document.
- Diplomatic passport holders, heads of diplomatic missions and consulates of foreign countries in the Republic of Azerbaijan, employees and their families;
- Foreigners and stateless persons with work permits in the Republic of Azerbaijan; foreigners and stateless persons with temporary or permanent residence permits in the Republic of Azerbaijan and their family members (wife, husband, parents, children under 18, as well as children with disabilities over 18); – are required to provide relevant supporting documents

Multiple entry visas
To obtain a multiple entry visa (up to 1 year) for travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan the following documents must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy:
1. An invitation from a receiving party should be sent through Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
The authorization from the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the confirmation of the invitation of a receiving party should be received by the Embassy. Double entry visas (Transit visas)
To obtain a double entry visa (up to 10 days) for travel to the Republic of Azerbaijan the following documents must be submitted to the Consular Section of the Embassy:
- One completed Visa Application Form or E-application, signed by the applicant;
All blank spaces in the form must be typed or printed in Italian or English languages. Incomplete visa application forms will be returned without processing.
- Valid passport or other travel document (photocopies will not be accepted)which should have at least one clear page for the visa;
A passport must be valid for no less than 3 months after the date of its holder’s planned departure from Azerbaijan.
Holders of travel documents must submit valid permanent resident card.
- Two passport sized photos of the applicant taken within the last 6 months to reflect the current appearance;
Colored photos must be full face, one stapled to the marked corner of the application.
- Confirmed hotel bookings for transit period.
- Flight details – confirmed tickets (with receipt if available), valid visa of the destination country (if applicable)
