The MAMA “Mother Nature” exhibition was presented in Rome
The presentation of international art exhibition “Mother Nature” took place at National Art Museum of XXI Century in Rome on 9 May 2025.
Vice-President of Haydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and leader of International Dialogue for Environmental Action (IDEA) Public Union Leyla Aliyeva, President of Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva, and daughter of the President of the Italian Republic Laura Mattarella participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
The debut of the project was held in November of 2024 at the Haydar Aliyev Center within the framework of COP29 held in Baku; afterwards, the international art project was launched to be exhibited in various countries as a traveling exhibition.
The exhibition started its journey with a presentation in Bahrain so as to spread the message about climate change to the world. The project, which was presented for the first time in Europe in Rome after Bahrain, contains works of 55 artists from 28 countries.
Heads of the diplomatic corps accredited in Italy, representatives of international organizations, as well as Director-General of FAO Qu Dongyu, the representatives of the Presidential Palace of Italian Republic, various ministries, Rome municipality, the private sector, fellow citizens living in Italy attended the opening ceremony.
The soft opening of the exhibition was held on 29 April, and it will be open for all visitors of the museum until 14 May 2025.
