On April 1, 2025, Ambassador Rashad Aslanov attended the inauguration ceremony of the new Captains Regent of the Republic of San Marino. On behalf of the Head of State, he congratulated the new Captains Regent, Denise Bronzetti and Italo Righi, and wished them success in their activities.
Within the framework of the visit, Ambassador R. Aslanov also met with Alessandro Bevitori, State Secretary (Minister) for Economic Planning, Relations with A.A.S.S., Ecological Transition and Technological Innovations of the Republic of San Marino, Ambassador Dario Galassi, Head of the Economic Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Economic Cooperation and Telecommunications, and Ilaria Salicioni, Deputy Head of the Department for Political and Diplomatic Affairs.
During the meetings, it was emphasized that there is a favorable environment for further development of bilateral relations with San Marino, particularly in the areas of trade, energy, tourism, education, and inter-parliamentary cooperation. A number of other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
