Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov is on a working trip to Italy

A delegation led by Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, who is on a visit to Italy, met with Senator Giulio Terzi of the Italian Parliament

The meeting highlighted the successful partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Italy, which have been developing in various fields of the economy, including trade, energy, transport, and other areas.

The parties exchanged views on the priorities of economic cooperation and noted the importance of increasing new initiatives.

During the meeting of the Minister of Economy with Andrea Di Giuseppe, Chairman of the Foreign Trade Committee of the Italian Parliament, the high potential of trade partnership was emphasized. Discussions were held on the realization of these opportunities, in particular, the development of relations between business entities and the increase of mutual investments. It was noted that the favorable investment environment created for investors in our country, including the benefits applied in the Alat Free Trade Zone, industrial zones, and our liberated territories, also presents new and effective business opportunities for Italian companies.

Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with Francesco Rocca, President of the Lazio region of Italy, as part of his visit to Italy. The parties reviewed economic issues of mutual interest within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Italy partnership and prospects for promoting joint activities in the private sector.

The meeting continued with the participation of representatives of Italian business entities. An exchange of views took place between business circles on the establishment of new partnerships in the fields of industry, energy, including "green" energy, transport and logistics, agriculture and other areas.

At the event, presentations were also made on the business and investment opportunities of Azerbaijan and the Lazio region.
