Your Excellency,
On the occasion of May 28 – Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I extend my sincere congratulations to you and to the people of Azerbaijan on behalf of the Maltese people and personally.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Malta and the Republic of Azerbaijan, built on mutual respect and understanding. I am confident that the relations between our states will continue to develop in the years ahead.
I take this opportunity to wish you good health and security, and to extend my wishes for lasting peace, progress, and prosperity to your country.
