On 16 September 2025, a concert dedicated to Uzeyir Hajibeyli, the founder of professional music in Azerbaijan, was held at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of his birth.

The concert was organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, jointly by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Italy, the Azerbaijan Cultural Center operating under the Embassy, and the Santa Cecilia State Conservatory.
