A Book of Condolences opened at Azerbaijan's Embassy in Italy for the Day of Sorrow
In association with the day of mourning announced due to the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane operating the Baku-Grozny route, the flag of Azerbaijan was flown to half-mast at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Italy and a book of condolences was made available.
A note was forward by the embassy to Italian governmental institutions, organizations located in Rome, as well as diplomatic delegations. It was stated that the book of condolences was open at the embassy on December 26-27 in the relation to the day of mourning.
Officials from Italian state bodies and members of the diplomatic community in Rome visited the Azerbaijani Embassy to convey their condolences and panned sincere notes in the book of condolences.
