Huge metallurgical complex to be built in Azerbaijani city of Sumgayit
A huge metallurgical cluster consisting of five large plants will be built in Sumgayit, Azerbaijan`s largest industrial city.
A relevant agreement was signed today by Baku Steel Company and Italian Danieli.
The agreement envisages the construction of five plants, with the total cost of the project estimated at 1, 225,000,000 euros.
The construction work will employ nearly 4,000 people. Once commissioned, the complex will create 1,200 jobs.
